Got a new phone with a rather decent camera. The flash isn't brilliant so I'm avoiding using it. Here are some quick snaps around Herne Hill using a black and white setting.
"Pushing Fashion Boundaries in an Era Without Any"
Model Rick Genest is the main feature in the new Thierry Mugler campaign. Otherwise known as Zombie Boy, Rick is best known for his detailed skeletal body art then his portfolio. His reason for the body art is a love for horror movies and fascination with the decomposition of the human body. He is one of a few models found through Cathy Horyns "Pushing Fashion Boundaries in an Era Without Any" along with transsexual model Lea T, androgynous model Andrej Pejic, and albino model Stephen Thompson pictured below (left to right). Is the fashion world opening up its doors for those who are usually the outcasts in the competitive industry? Or is this just a circus like display of the odd for us all to marvel at? I do hope it is not the latter.

Larry Clarke - Tulsa
Tulsa is a portfolio of black and white photographs by Larry Clarke. The photos show his young friends in the 1970s from the subcultures of punk rock, surfing and skateboarding and was controversial for showing the casual drug use, underage sex and violence that they engage in. He is best known for this work and the movie Kids.
